Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, is a community-funded nonprofit animal shelter and learning center located in Fairport, NY. It employs over 90 full- and part-time employees with an annual operating budget of over $6 million. Its 140 acre facility shelters a variety of domestic pets and farm animals.


Animal Care Attendant
Lollypop Farm has a full-time and a part-time opportunity available as an Animal Care Attendant. The primary function of the Animal Care Attendant is to keep the animals clean and fed throughout the day as well as keep work areas clean and well stocked. The part-time Animal Care Attendant will be working mainly with small animals and perform some kennel work. (Must be able to work weekends regularly.)

Equine Manager
Lollypop Farm has a full-time opportunity available on our farm as an Equine Manager. The Equine Manager is responsible for overseeing the admission, care, training, and adoption of equine on the farm as well as for supervising equine staff and volunteers.

Adoption Counselor
One part-time position is available as an Adoption Counselor. The primary function of the Adoption Counselor is to interface with the public admitting animals and aiding in the adoption process. (Schedule includes Sunday as part of the regular work schedule.)

Veterinary Technician
Lollypop Farm is seeking two full-time, NYS Licensed Veterinary Technicians that have a love for animals and enjoy a fast paced work environment. (M- F and a Tues – Sat schedule) Recent graduates are welcome. The qualified candidate will possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Pay is commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefit package including health insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, continuing education, paid time-off (PTO), veterinary services discount, and uniform allowance.
