Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, is a community-funded nonprofit animal shelter and learning center located in Fairport, NY. It employs over 90 full- and part-time employees with an annual operating budget of $4.5M. Its 140 acre facility shelters a variety of domestic pets and livestock.
Lollypop Farm has a part-time opportunity available as Rescue Coordinator. The primary function of the Rescue Coordinator is to oversee the rescue program including selecting animals, scheduling, and maintaining ongoing positive relationship with rescue groups. (Must be able to work weekends regularly.)
Behavior and Training Staff
Lollypop Farm has a full-time opportunity available in our shelter as a Behavior and Training Staff. The primary function of the Behavior and Training Staff is to support the activities and duties of the behavior department, including: conducting training classes, performing behavioral evaluations and enrichment activities with shelter animals, and providing behavioral counseling to adopters and clients.
Lollypop Farm has a full-time opportunity available as an Admission/Adoption Supervisor. The primary function of the Admission/Adoption Supervisor is to provide direction to adoption/admission counselors, oversee admissions, adoptions and maintain the cleanliness of the animals and interface with the public. (Must be able to work a weekend day regularly.)
Manager of Corporate & Foundation Relations
Lollypop Farm has a full-time opportunity available as Manager of Corporate & Foundation Relations. This manager will work closely with and report to the Director of Development; play an integral role in cultivating, soliciting and stewarding gifts from corporate sponsors, business partners, and grant and foundation donors; as well as, work to increase overall agency funding.
Lollypop Farm has a full-time opportunity available on our farm as an Equine Manager. The Equine Manager is responsible for overseeing the admission, care, training, and adoption of equine on the farm as well as for supervising equine staff and volunteers.
One part-time and one full-time positions are available as an Adoption Counselor. The primary function of the Adoption Counselor is to interface with the public admitting animals and aiding in the adoption process. (Schedule includes regular weekend work.)
Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester is seeking one full-time, NYS Licensed Veterinary Technician who has a love for animals and enjoy a fast paced work environment. Recent graduates are welcome. The qualified candidate will possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Pay is commensurate with experience.
