The Legacy Society at Lollypop Farm honors and recognizes the generosity and vision of those who have chosen to leave a legacy for our animal friends through a will provision or other form of deferred gift.

Legacy Society

Legacy donors receive special recognition on our donor wall and receive invitations to annual Society activities. Lollypop Farm will also honor requests for donor anonymity. Enrollment in this honorary society is simply a matter of advising Lollypop Farm of the creation of a legacy gift.

Please download a copy of the Legacy Society Membership Form. Return this form to indicate your intentions and whether or not you would like to be recognized on the Donor Wall.

For questions, or to have a Legacy Society Membership Form mailed to you, please contact Cathie Wright at 585-223-1330 x 245.

2011 Legacy Society Appreciation Luncheon

April 2011—While the food, the atmosphere, and the camaraderie all exceeded expectations at this year’s Legacy Society Appreciation Luncheon, it was the ongoing message of compassion for all living beings and the responsibilities we share for saving pets’ lives that those in attendance took away that afternoon.

The event was held at the Country Club of Rochester and sponsored by Woods, Oviatt, Gilmnan LLP. President and CEO Alice Calabrese welcomed honored guests and expressed sincere appreciation for their selflessness in making plans that would benefit homeless animals through their estate plans.

“The day went very well,” said Cathie Wright, Director of Development. “We had a great turnout and everyone seemed to really enjoy the event.”

Especially the presentation made by Meghan Sheldon, Humane Education Manager at Lollypop Farm, who spoke about the many ways we fulfill our mission to build lifelong bonds between people and animals by reaching out to our community’s youth.

Legacy Society members insure the strength of the Humane Society by perpetuating support beyond the donor’s lifetime and providing a secure financial base for the future. For more information, please contact Cathie Wright, Director of Development, at (585) 223-1330 ext. 245.
