The Legacy Society at Lollypop Farm honors and recognizes the generosity and vision of those who have chosen to leave a legacy for our animal friends through a will provision or other form of deferred gift.

Legacy donors receive special recognition on our donor wall and receive invitations to annual Society activities. Lollypop Farm will also honor requests for donor anonymity. Enrollment in this honorary society is simply a matter of advising Lollypop Farm of the creation of a legacy gift.

2012 Legacy Society Appreciation Luncheon

April 2012—Every April, the members of Lollypop Farm’s Legacy Society come together for a luncheon and an opportunity to hear from a special guest speaker about programs and services provided by the Humane Society.

This year, 66 members attended and enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the beautiful Monroe Golf Club, sponsored by the Trusts and Estates Department of Woods Oviatt Gilman, LLP. They were treated to a special sneak preview of our capital renovation and expansion plans as Alice Calabrese Smith, President and CEO, took them on a pictorial behind-the-scenes tour.

Alice thanked the Legacy Society members for their gifts throughout the years and the cushion their deferred gifts provide. Legacy Members are truly the future of Lollypop Farm and these donors are forward-thinking in planning for the homeless pets who will certainly continue to arrive at Lollypop Farm long after we are all gone.
