Lollypop Farm Seeking Dog Adopters as Shelter Cares for 100 Dogs

Lollypop Farm extends 50% off Dog Adoptions through January

Lollypop Farm extends 50% off Dog Adoptions through January – Fox Rochester

WHAT: Lollypop Farm is seeking adopters for dogs as the shelter reaches 100 dogs in their care. Many dogs like Tommy, Sinatra, Meadow, and Zeus have been at Lollypop Farm for over a month waiting for the perfect place to call home. While Lollypop Farm does not have any limitations on the length of time a pet may wait for their family, the shelter is stressed for space to help additional pets needing to be brought to the shelter for veterinary services and other forms of life-saving care.

WHAT: Lollypop Farm (main shelter location)
99 Victor Road
Fairport NY 14450

Walk-in adoptions are welcome:

(See hours and locations for further information)

WHY: Community members can have a big impact when they choose to adopt now because not only will they be providing a second chance to the pet they take home, they will be helping to make space in the shelter for another pet who may need veterinary services or another form of life-saving care.

Adopters can also take advantage of end-of-the-year promotions going on at the shelter. Right now, shelter pets (including dogs, cats, rabbits, and small mammals) are 50% off the cost of adoption along with “Spirit Cats” cost of adoption being 100% off through the shelter’s Bark in the Mew Year promotion. In addition, senior dogs and cats (ages 6 and up) can be adopted for free by adopters 60 years and older through Lollypop Farm’s Seniors-for-Seniors program.

HOW: Adopters should start by heading to the Lollypop Farm website at lollypop.org/dogs to see all the dogs currently available for adoption. Each dog has a biography detailing their personalities and individual needs. If an adopter is interested in a specific pet, they can come to Lollypop Farm during regular adoption hours to be helped by an adoption counselor.
