DESCRIPTION:Scouts will learn the characteristics and habitat types of 10 reptiles and amphibians. Scouts will learn the roles of reptiles and amphibians in their ecosystems and the differences between major groups of reptiles and amphibians. Scouts can identify different species of reptiles and amphibians and discuss them within a group. Scouts will be awarded the reptile and amphibian study merit badge after presenting evidence that they have completed ONE of the following: maintain a reptile or amphibian for one month OR study a reptile or amphibian weekly for a period of 3 months. No prerequisites are needed for this merit badge. \nTime: 2.5 hours\nPrerequisites: None\nFollow-up: Observe 3 months or care for 1 month\nPricing: $15 per scout (two group leaders included for free) \nRegister
