What does it mean when a pet has the "Adopt From Foster" banner on their profile?
It means that the pet is lucky enough to spend their time in a foster home until they find a family to call their very own! They can be adopted right from their foster home versus having to be here at the shelter.
Where is this pet actually located?
They are in a loving foster home! All pets who have the "Adopt From Foster" banner will need an appointment in order to meet them. Sometimes, pets are met right in their foster home and other times, they are brought back to the shelter for a meet and greet - each situation may be a little different, but you and that pet's point person will work out those details!
How do I meet them/what is the adoption process?
The first step is to fill out the form that will pop up once you click the "Ask About Meeting Me button". From there, one of our staff members will reach out to you with more information about the pet and how to meet them.

Bonnie has been living it up in her foster home, but is ready to meet her forever family! This spunky butterball acts like a big cuddly baby when at home. She loves to get comfy in bed or chew on her toys during her down time. But where this lady truly shines is when she is outside! her amazing foster has brought Bonnie to the beach, where she enjoyed digging holes and checking out the waves. She also has fun out on a hike, so if you want a sporty companion Bonnie may be your gal! While Bonnie is a staff favorite at Lollypop, she does prefer a home with children over the age of six. The staff and her foster parent can talk about the best ways to make sure Bonnie is her best self when you bring her into your home. So if you want the girl with the round body, expressive eyes, and a zeal for adventure look no further than Bonnie! Our adoption consolers can arrange the perfect meet-cute with this lady.
