HOW TO

ADOPT A CAT

Step 1
All potential adopters must be 18 or older and have valid photo ID.

Read through cat adoption profiles to see if any seem like a good fit for your household and lifestyle.

View cats available for adoption

Step 2
Come to Lollypop Farm during our open Adoption Hours and meet with an adoption counselor who will help you meet cats you’re interested in and answer any questions you may have about adding a new friend to your life.
Step 3
If you are ready to adopt, you would pay the adoption fee and in most cases, bring your new friend home that very day!

WHAT’S INCLUDED

IN CAT ADOPTIONS

What’s included in CAT adoptions

  • A physical examination and behavioral assessment by our veterinary and behavior staff

  • Spay/neuter surgery

  • Vaccinations to keep your pet healthy, including a rabies vaccination for animals older than 3 months

  • Deworming medication

  • Flea treatment

  • A microchip implant and registration

  • A follow-up health exam with a participating veterinarian
