Thank you for considering adopting a dog from Lollypop Farm! Not only will you enjoy and benefit from adding a pet to your home, you are giving a deserving friend a second chance. You’ll make a new friend for life — and save a life.

HOW TO ADOPT A DOG

STEP 1
All potential adopters must be 18 or older and have valid photo ID.

Read through dog adoption profiles to see if any seem like a good fit for your household and lifestyle.

View dogs available for adoption

STEP 2

Come to Lollypop Farm during our open adoption hours and meet with an adoption counselor who will help you meet dogs you’re interested in and answer any questions about adding a new friend to your life.

STEP 3

If you are ready to adopt, you would pay the adoption fee and in most cases, bring your new friend home that very day!

WHAT’S INCLUDED

IN DOG ADOPTIONS

What’s included in DOG adoptions

  • A physical examination and behavioral assessment by our veterinary and behavior staff

  • Spay/neuter surgery

  • Vaccinations to keep your pet healthy, including a rabies vaccination for animals older than 3 months

  • Deworming medication

  • A heartworm test

  • Flea treatment

  • A microchip implant and registration

  • A follow-up health exam with a participating veterinarian
