Discount Programs

Thank you for considering adopting your new pet from Lollypop Farm! We invite you to take advantage of the special adoption programs we offer year-round to help place pets who might wait longer for adoption than others. The adoption process remains the same, but you’ll enjoy a lower or even waived adoption fee, and you’ll be giving a deserving pet a wonderful new home!

Seniors-for-Seniors

Adopters who are 60 years of age or older will help be matched with a cat or dog, aged 6 or older, who fits into your lifestyle and housing situation. The adoption fee is waived!

Military Appreciation

At Lollypop Farm, we value the dedication and sacrifices of Active Duty and Reserve members of the U.S. Armed Forces as well as the Military Retirees. As a token of our appreciation, receive 15% off the price of adoption for shelter pets including dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, and birds when you present a valid Armed Forces ID card at the time of adoption.

Pets for Patriots

To take part in Pets for Patriots and receive a 50% discount on your adoption fee, you must first apply through Pets for Patriots. Once you have received your approval letter from Pets for Patriots, simply visit any Lollypop Farm adoption center and show us your letter!

Heart-to-Heart

Lollypop Farm has partnered with Boehringer Ingelheim, makers of HEARTGARD® Plus (ivermectin/pyrantel) for an exciting life-saving adoption program. Some dogs that come to Lollypop Farm are diagnosed in our veterinary clinic with a life-threatening condition called heartworm disease. This serious disease is difficult and costly to treat. The cost of treatment for these pets, and others like them, have been paid for thanks to the generosity of Boehringer Ingelheim. Dogs treated for heartworm at Lollypop Farm will also have their adoption fee waived and will be going home with a year’s supply of a heartworm preventative called HEARTGARD® Plus (ivermectin/pyrantel) to help keep them protected in their new home. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:

HEARTGARD® Plus (ivermectin/pyrantel) is well tolerated. All dogs should be tested for heartworm infection before starting a preventive program. Following the use of HEARTGARD® Plus, digestive and neurological side effects have been reported. For more information, click here for full prescribing information.

2-for-1

Sometimes animals brought to the shelter are clearly bonded with each other from the start and other times, shyer cats may make connections with cats they meet upon arrival. When we see that animals are bonded, we try our best to make sure they stay together when going into their new home. Some examples of ways to tell if animals are bonded are:

  • They sleep cuddled up together
  • They groom each other
  • They have spent most of their lives together
If an adopter is interested in adopting a bonded pair, they only have to pay the price of one adoption fee!
