Shelter Helpers is a fun in-person program designed for students seeking opportunities to help their community. Perfect for young animal lovers (8-16 years-old), Shelter Helpers will explore ways youth can help homeless pets.

Our Book Buddies program allows children to read their favorite books while cozying up to cats and small pets, waiting for new homes. We invite children to our main campus in Fairport to practice their reading skills in a positive, non-judgmental environment. Our pets are great listeners!

Programs are tailored to the audience’s age level and interests and are available to groups of any kind, including schools, clubs, homeschool groups, learning pods, and community organizations.

Learn lifesaving skills to help protect your furry family member. This class is designed to help pet owners provide temporary, urgent care to pets until they can reach a veterinary or emergency clinic. This course is for ages 14 and up.
