What does it mean when a pet has the "Adopt From Foster" banner on their profile?
It means that the pet is lucky enough to spend their time in a foster home until they find a family to call their very own! They can be adopted right from their foster home versus having to be here at the shelter.
Where is this pet actually located?
They are in a loving foster home! All pets who have the "Adopt From Foster" banner will need an appointment in order to meet them. Sometimes, pets are met right in their foster home and other times, they are brought back to the shelter for a meet and greet - each situation may be a little different, but you and that pet's point person will work out those details!
How do I meet them/what is the adoption process?
The first step is to fill out the form that will pop up once you click the "Ask About Meeting Me button". From there, one of our staff members will reach out to you with more information about the pet and how to meet them.

Brussels is the absolute best sprout that you'll ever meet! Brussels came to us when his beloved person passed away, and understandably, he was quite a sad lump (a 91 lb lump, but a lump nonetheless) for a while. Since getting his bearings here with us, Brussels has discovered a love of people, toys, and treats, as any good dog would! Brussels is the absolute definition of a staff favorite. You can't walk him down the halls of Lollypop Farm without someone asking to say hello to him. He is a big boy, sure, but he is full of wiggles and love for everyone! Brussels does have a positive history of living with other dogs, but we'd want him to meet any resident dog that you may have here at the shelter to make sure everyone gets along! We aren't sure yet how he feels about cats, but he's a pretty easy going guy, so we are hopeful that with proper (slow!) introductions to a feline friend, he might do alright. If you're looking to fill your heart and home with almost 100 lbs of goofy, lovable angelic boy, PLEASE come ask us about Brussels!
