Adopt From Foster FAQs
What does it mean when a pet has the "Adopt From Foster" banner on their profile?
It means that the pet is lucky enough to spend their time in a foster home until they find a family to call their very own! They can be adopted right from their foster home versus having to be here at the shelter.
Where is this pet actually located?
They are in a loving foster home! All pets who have the "Adopt From Foster" banner will need an appointment in order to meet them. Sometimes, pets are met right in their foster home and other times, they are brought back to the shelter for a meet and greet - each situation may be a little different, but you and that pet's point person will work out those details!
How do I meet them/what is the adoption process?
The first step is to click the "Ask About Meeting Me" button, which will take you directly to this pet's adoption page on Shelterluv. From there, one of our staff members will reach out to you with more information about the pet and how to meet them.
Are you interested in helping a pet stay out of the shelter while they wait for an adopter?
We love to hear that! Become a foster volunteer at lollypop.org/foster. You will receive emails letting you know who is eligible for our "Adopt From Foster" program!
Rocky
Lollypop Farm
Rocky is full of personality and energy. He loves to play, stay active, and be part of the action. He is fully potty trained and does great with other dogs and small children. Rocky is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddling up with his people after a fun day of play. Like many young, enthusiastic dogs, Rocky can still be a little impulsive at times. When he's excited to meet new friends, he may jump up to say hello because he's just so happy and eager to make connections. With continued guidance and training, he's making great progress. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion who will keep you smiling, Rocky could be the perfect addition to your family.
