Bluffin is a lovely Thoroughbred mare who is looking for her next loving home. She first came to Lollypop in 2023 directly from her owners at the track. Bluffin was then adopted out for two years and came back when her owner encountered some big life changes.

Bluffin was a rockstar as a racehorse - having raced 53 times, starting as a three year old, and ending her career with over 142k in winnings. Her time at the track left her with some arthritic changes, especially in her RF fetlock. Bluffin has been ridden at a w/t. She may be more comfortable with maintenance medications/injections, but we have not gone down that route. She is much more comfortable and happier being ridden outside on trails/pasture than arena sand. She does best with 24/7 turnout and will need front shoes or boots due to thin soles.

Since arriving, Bluffin has had a calm demeanor and has been willing to try anything we ask of her, whether it's arena work, silly desensitization, or trail rides. She does great with our summer camp education, meeting kids on the farm walk, or even having a wheelchair user lead her around.

Suitable for an intermediate rider, or beginner with trainer.
