FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester and a recognized leader in animal welfare, is proud to announce the election of Eric Allen to its Board of Directors. A respected leader with roots in the Greater Rochester community, Allen brings a powerful combination of strategic insight, professional expertise, and a strong commitment to advancing animal welfare, further strengthening Lollypop Farm’s ability to expand its life-saving mission.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Eric to our Board of Directors at such a pivotal time for our organization,” said Alice Calabrese, President and CEO of Lollypop Farm. “As we continue to grow our impact and respond to the evolving needs of animals and the people who care for them, Eric’s leadership, financial acumen, and strong community relationships will be invaluable. His passion for animal welfare, paired with his strategic perspective, will help guide our work and ensure we remain a trusted resource for the community.”
As a member of Lollypop Farm’s Board, Allen will play a critical role in shaping strategic direction, strengthening key partnerships, and supporting initiatives that protect and enhance the lives of animals across the region. His appointment comes at a time of continued growth as Lollypop Farm expands its services in community outreach, education, veterinary care, humane law enforcement, and adoption programs.
“My passion for animal welfare has been shaped over the last decade through my involvement with the Seneca Park Zoo,” added Allen. “Joining the Lollypop Farm board feels like a natural next step, and I’m eager to support the team and mission, especially the lifesaving work, humane education, and community connections that make lasting change possible.”
Allen has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as an Executive Director with JP Morgan Chase. Drawing on his experience as a commercial banker advising companies on financial strategy, operational execution, and growth, he will provide valuable guidance as Lollypop Farm scales its programs and expands its overall impact. An avid animal lover, Allen lives in Fairport with his wife and two children.
