LOLLYPOP FARM PARTNERS WITH PETCADEMY TO OFFER FREE TRAINING SUPPORT AND RESOURCES FOR ADOPTERS

FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, is excited to announce a new partnership with Petcademy, offering every dog and cat adopter 30 days of free training and behavior support to help their new pets adjust and thrive in their forever homes.

Each year, Lollypop Farm adopts thousands of animals, including each year, with over 4,000 adoptions last year alone. Cats and dogs represent a large portion of these adoptions, and Petcademy’s resources will help ensure successful transitions into new homes.

Through Petcademy, Lollypop Farm adopters gain access to a team of certified trainers available seven days a week via text or email. The service also includes online training videos, step-by-step guides, and resources tailored to each pet’s unique needs. All of these services are designed to promote positive, fear-free training methods based on compassion and science.

“Bringing home a new pet is a joyful experience, but it can also come with challenges as everyone settles in,” said Vicky Pape, Director of Animal Placement at Lollypop Farm. “Our partnership with Petcademy ensures that adopters never have to navigate that transition alone. With accessible, expert support, we can help more pets stay happy, healthy, and at home.”

Petcademy partners with shelters and rescue organizations nationwide to reduce the likelihood of pets being returned after adoption. Their mission is rooted in helping every dog and cat parent feel confident and supported through community connection, expert guidance, and digestible learning materials.

This new partnership reflects Lollypop Farm’s continued commitment to supporting pets and the people who love them, before and after adoption. To view available pets at Lollypop Farm, visit www.lollypop.org/adopt.
