LOLLYPOP FARM SEIZES MORE THAN 40 CATS AS PART OF WARRANT SERVED IN TOWN OF PERINTON

FAIRPORT, N.Y. – On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, assisted the Town of Perinton and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in executing a warrant at 14 Kreag Road.

Upon arriving at the scene and with animal welfare in mind, Humane Law Enforcement Investigators made the determination that conditions required removing the animals from the property. The Lollypop Farm Animal Emergency Response Team was activated and quickly arrived. After assessing the situation, 45 cats were safely removed from the home and transported to Lollypop Farm for complete evaluations and observation.

“These types of animal seizures place significant demands on our veterinary team and can be stressful for everyone involved, particularly when they occur at a location we’ve encountered before,” added Reno DiDomenico, Vice President for Humane Law Enforcement at Lollypop Farm. “We’re grateful for the incredible support we receive from our community, which makes it possible for us to provide the specialized care, services, and resources that these animals urgently need.”

This remains an on-going investigation. Further inquiries should be directed to the Town of Perinton.

Lollypop Farm is committed to preventing animal cruelty and ensuring the well-being of animals in our community. We encourage anyone with concerns about possible animal abuse to contact our Animal Abuse Hotline at (585) 223-6500.
