LOLLYPOP FARM TO GREET GUESTS THROUGH THE NEW MOLLY AND ED SHILL CARES FOUNDATION WELCOME CENTER

FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, has announced that a focal point of its Kindness for All Kind expansion will bear the name of two of its most passionate supporters as the new state-of-the-art Welcome Center will be named after the Molly and Ed Shill Cares Foundation.

More than just a front door to Lollypop Farm, The Molly and Ed Shill Cares Foundation Welcome Center will be a place of connection, compassion, and community. As the first point of contact for thousands of visitors and volunteers each year, it will exemplify Lollypop Farm’s commitment to creating a nurturing, supportive, and compassionate environment for both animals and people. This thoughtfully designed space will serve as a community hub where families, volunteers, adopters, educators, and supporters of all ages can come together to discover resources, learn about animal welfare, and engage more deeply with the mission of Lollypop Farm. By providing welcoming spaces, shared learning areas, and opportunities for meaningful interaction, the Welcome Center will help foster empathy, inspire advocacy, and strengthen the bond with the Greater Rochester community.

Alice Calabrese, Lollypop Farm President and CEO, said: “From the moment you meet Molly and Ed, you feel the warmth, generosity, and genuine compassion they extend to people and animals alike. It is only fitting that our new Welcome Center will bear their name, as it reflects the same spirit of openness and care they have shown Lollypop Farm for so many years. The support of the Molly and Ed Shill Cares Foundation has been second to none, strengthening our mission and expanding our ability to provide lifesaving care, critical resources, and essential services for generations to come. Whether chairing our Kindness for All Kind campaign or serving as passionate ambassadors throughout the Greater Rochester community, Molly and Ed continue to lead with heart, leaving a lasting impact on the animals and people we serve. We’re extremely grateful for their support and generosity.”

Molly Branch Shill, President of the Molly and Ed Shill Cares Foundation, said: “We’re honored to support this generational investment in kindness. Lollypop Farm has long held a special place in our hearts, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of a campaign that will strengthen care, compassion, and access to lifesaving services for animals and the people who love them throughout our community. The Kindness for All Kind initiative reflects the values that first drew us to Lollypop Farm, ensuring every animal is treated with dignity and every person is met with understanding and support. We’re proud to help create a future where this vital work can continue to grow and reach even more lives for generations to come.”

Construction is well underway to bring Kindness for All Kind to life. When complete, Lollypop Farm’s campus will nearly double in size, transforming the organization into one of the nation’s foremost community-based animal welfare and education centers. With new and enhanced spaces that include educational facilities, improved animal intake and dog holding areas, a modernized Donations and Support Center, expanded farm facilities, a new maintenance barn, and more, Lollypop Farm will significantly increase its ability to deliver lifesaving care, essential services, and compassionate support to animals and the people who love them for generations to come. Community members are invited to be part of this generational investment in kindness by learning more or supporting the campaign at lollypop.org/kindness.
