Lollypop Farm Raises $271,384 to Help Pets in Need

Fairport, NY – On Saturday, April 16th, Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, held the 20th Anniversary Tails of Hope Telethon. $271,384 was raised to support the organization’s mission to help pets in need.

“While we didn’t reach our goal of $300,000, we are thankful for the support our community provided to help homeless and abused animals,” says Alice Calabrese, President and CEO of Lollypop Farm. “These funds are vital in providing veterinary treatment, food, shelter, and care for thousands of pets. We especially want to thank our friends at Eastview Mall, 13WHAM, CW Rochester, Fickle 93.3, Warm 101.3, The Zone @ 94.1, Delta Sonic, Fromm Family Pet Food, and Petsaver for their support.”

The Tails of Hope Telethon featured video vignettes looking back on past adoptions, live interviews with experts and supporters, and meet and greets with some of Lollypop Farm’s adoptable pets. Donations to support Lollypop Farm can still be made at:  www.lollypop.org/donate.
