Are you ready to make a measurable difference for animals in your community? Join us as we prepare for Giving Tuesday—the biggest day of global generosity of the year. This workshop is designed for youth ages 10 to 14 who want to explore the power of philanthropy, social impact, and community advocacy. Students will examine how community support directly funds the daily operations, veterinary hospital, and law enforcement teams at Lollypop Farm. As active participants in our holiday campaign, students will handle real donor outreach. They will write meaningful thank-you messages to long-time supporters, learning how essential appreciation is to a charity’s mission. Next, they will take on an animal advocacy challenge: using persuasive writing to author direct-mail appeal letters. By acting as the “voice” for a specific animal currently awaiting adoption, students will learn how targeted communication can inspire strangers to become life-saving donors.
