Scouts will learn the history of the domestication of dogs and the characteristics of major breed groups. Scouts will learn about responsible dog ownership, including house-training, obedience training, socialization, and care. Scouts will tour the Klingenstein Veterinary Clinic and learn about the medical needs of dogs and basic first aid.
