Shelter Helpers
Shelter Helpers is an in-person program for children and teens seeking opportunities to help animals in their community. With a small group of their peers and a humane educator, Shelter Helpers may create a variety of enrichment toys, devise adoption promotion materials, and keep the shelter grounds tidy—not to mention get some hands-on animal socialization time!
By registering below, you certify that your child has reviewed all body language safety sheets and will adhere to animal safety guidelines while participating in youth activities at Lollypop Farm.
Important Information:
- Ages 8-17
- $25 drop-in fee with registration
- Two hour program on Saturday morning
- Scholarships available. Apply here.
- Program hours are eligible to be signed off as service hours
- Must wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get messy
- What kinds of activities will my child participate in?
- Can my child sign up for multiple days?
- Will my child have the opportunity to touch and interact with animals?
- Can these hours count towards community service?
- Is registration required?
