You can help pets in need as a volunteer at Lollypop Farm! As a volunteer, you become part of a team committed to providing loving, quality care to pets in need, while also making the community a better place for our pets and their people. Together, we can make a big difference for the animals!

Thank you for your interest in helping the animals with your time and talent! Whether you wish to help care for the animals, work in guest services or administration, provide assistance with programs, make special events special, or lend your handy-person skills on projects, your participation is key to helping homeless and abused pets.

Please complete the volunteer application to let us know your area of interest and time availability. We’ll get in touch with you to let you know more about orientation and the training process. (Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.)

Foster Care Volunteer
Make an immediate and lasting impact on the life of a pet in need as a Foster Care Volunteer. Animals may need foster care for many reasons and your short-term, in-home care can help save lives! Learn more.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

  • Become a Lollypop Farm Teen Volunteer! This volunteer opportunity is for animal-loving teenagers, ages 14 to 17, who are interested in ongoing volunteer opportunities at the shelter. Please apply here.
  • Shelter Helpers: Perfect for young animal lovers (8-16 years-old) Shelter Helpers will explore different ways that youth can help homeless pets. Click here for more information.

A volunteer group of compassionate professionals that combine their efforts to fundraise, volunteer, and network in the community.

Host a Fundraiser
You can help the animals with an event at your business, with your own garage sale, lemonade stand, or whatever creative idea you come up with!

Doggy Day Out
On your Doggy Day Out, you can help shelter dogs work on social skills, meet potential new owners who may not have found their way into the shelter to meet them in the first place, and give them time in peace and quiet. Please note that you do not need to fill out a volunteer application in order to participate in this program! Doggy Day Out is by walk-in only during our Adoption Center hours which can be found here.
