Youth and Teen Programs

Lollypop Farm is excited to offer brand new Scout workshops. Each workshop includes a unique, hands on, behind-the-scenes experience.

Art Show

Be Kind to Animals Week, May 3rd – 9th, is just around the corner, and Lollypop Farm needs your help to celebrate! Kids, kindergarten through 12th grade, are invited to get creative and help us spread the word about being kind to pets in our community. Submit a photo (.jpg, .png, or .pdf) of your child’s artwork and they will be displayed in a digital library and on social media during Be Kind to Animals Week. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Service Learning Saturdays Program

If you’re in grades 6-12, join us at Lollypop Farm for an active day of service to help us go above and beyond enriching the lives of animals at the shelter.

Curious Critters

Curious Critters provides a fun opportunity for children to visit Lollypop Farm and learn about our animal friends. Each month focuses on a different animal or animal-related topic and includes a lesson, activity, and animal interaction geared towards the theme of the month.

Potbellied Pig Belly Rubs

Have you always wanted to spend some quality time with a potbellied pig at Lollypop Farm? Now’s your chance! Participants will learn about pig behavior, diets, and care, explore why so many homeless pigs are brought to the shelter, and debunk myths about “mini” or “micro” pigs.

Junior Camp Counselor Volunteer Program

The junior camp counselor volunteer program is a great way for teens to gain valuable job experience working with children and animals in an education environment. Teens ages 15-17 accepted to the program will assist Lollypop Farm camp staff in providing fun and engaging week-long sessions of camp to children in grades K – 9.

Tours of the Lollypop Farm Campus

Lollypop Farm guided tours are available for all ages. Our guides will escort you around the campus while sharing information about our history, the animals we care for, and our community programs and services.

A great opportunity for your children to practice their reading skills while helping our cats socialize while waiting for adoption. Plus, our cats are great listeners!
