2025 was a year of “Happy Tails,” our wonderful community, and continued construction across the Lollypop Farm campus.
Community Pet Care Events
Our Community Pet Care Events continued this year. Community partnerships with The People’s Pantry, Father Tracy Advocacy Center, Cameron Communities, New Hope Community Development Corp at the David F Gantt R-Center, Kind Hearts Ministries at Glad Tidings Church, and Greater Harvest Baptist Church helped Lollypop Farm bring these events to numerous areas throughout Rochester, to areas where the need is greatest. We are also grateful to PetcoLove Foundation for its continued support in providing the vaccines.
1,883 total vaccines given 1,573 for dogs, 310 for cats
A 65% increase in the total number of vaccines from last year to this year
Nearly 6,000 pounds of pet food were given to community members

Winnie (formerly Georgia)
Erin and her husband decided to try Doggy Day Out on a whim. They were spending time with another couple and thought it would be more fun to spend the day together doing something different. Georgia was the only dog available that day, so they took her out on an adventure. They visited the park, went to the lake, and spent time exploring. Georgia was such a sweetheart that by the end of the day, they couldn’t imagine bringing her back.
At the time, Erin and her husband had been going back and forth about whether adopting a dog made sense. They lived in an apartment and were looking for a house. But on the drive back to Lollypop Farm, the car went quiet. Erin’s husband turned to her and said, “All right, we’re taking her home. I can’t put her back in a kennel again.”
Now named Winnie, Georgia lives a wonderful life. She loves hiking, meeting other dogs, and going for walks around their neighborhood. One of her favorite treats is stopping by Starbucks for a pup cup. She’s full of energy and gets the zoomies every day in the park across the street. Erin laughs that Winnie tricked them into thinking she was a laid-back dog during Doggy Day Out, when in reality she’s a total goofball. But, they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Maximus
“Hello, I’m messaging because I adopted my amazing husky from you guys back in September. Just wanted to give you guys an update on Maximus, now renamed T’Challa. I’ve loved every minute of having him since the moment I brought him home to be part of our pack. His siblings love him and have adapted to having him in our home. Shuri, my female, and T’Challa are the best of friends, with my 3rd husky Tho,r always keeping them in line. I’m forever grateful to not only god but you guys for bringing Challa into my life. He’s the best boy, and he finally has a home that will forever love him. Here are some pictures to show you guys how much I’ve loved having him.”

Adelaide
“Hello, I adopted Adelaide back in June, and we are best buddies. Thought I would share a few pictures of us celebrating her first holiday season”

Poppy
“Here are some pictures of Pepper (new name Poppy, like the flower) enjoying her new home!”

CC
“When we adopted CC on Christmas eve several staff members mentioned she was a favorite of theirs. We just wanted to reach out and say she is an amazing member of the family and fits in so well its crazy. She is one of the most patient cats I have ever owned. She adores her toys and cat tree, even if using parts of it is….difficult for her due to her size. Thank you for making our daughter’s first real pet adoption experience something she will always remember!”

Construction, Construction, Construction!
Construction is continuing across campus for the Kindness for All Kind campaign! As our community’s needs grow, this expansion will create more welcoming spaces for animals, families, and visitors. These improvements will broaden our capacity for care, education, and community support. Learn more at www.lollypop.org/kindness.
