Lollypop Farm training classes promote a positive bond between dogs and their guardians using reward-based training methods in an engaging and interactive setting. Whether you have an eight-week-old puppy or an eight-year-old dog, Lollypop Farm has the class for you. Our training classes offer people and their pets a wonderful opportunity to improve their communication skills and prevent future behavior problems. They’re also a lot of fun!

Dogs and Puppies New to Training
This class is limited to young puppies from 8-16 weeks of age. The primary goal of our Puppy Head Start class is to produce happily compliant, well-mannered, easily handled adult dogs.
This class is limited to older puppies from 4-6.5 months of age that have not yet taken any classes. The primary goal is to produce happily compliant, well-mannered, easily handled adult dogs.
For dogs new to training or in need of a refresher. The Basic Manners class will teach you how to communicate effectively with your dog and teach your dog skills to help her become a polite pooch at home and on outings.
Is your little one a consummate lap dog? Or, really, more of a huge dog in a tiny body? Either way, small dogs need to learn etiquette, too! Give your small dog a little something special. Give them the chance to shine!
For dogs that are not comfortable with strangers, other dogs, noises, objects or social pressure. With nervous, shy or fearful dogs, developing confidence that he or she can use when the world gets scary is key.
Are you struggling at getting your dog to come when called? Does your dog think that “come” means “catch me if you can”? If your dog is struggling with this potentially life-saving skill, then this class is for you!
K9 Nose Work is a super fun activity to do with your dog. Every dog loves sniffing and in nose work class, that’s exactly what they get to do!
This playgroup is limited to puppies from 2-7 months of age that weigh less than 25 pounds. The primary goal of our Puppy Playgroup is to provide supervised, appropriate play and socialization with other puppies.

Dogs Continuing in Training Classes with Lollypop Farm
Strengthen what your dog has learned with increased distractions and distance while also learning new skills. For dogs and owners that have passed either Basic Manners or Small Wonders class only.
The Feisty Fido class is for dogs that are overly-reactive when they see or meet other dogs. In this class you learn how to keep your dog calm and focused around other dogs.
Whether you want to try your hand (paw!) at the AKC Canine Good Citizen test or simply want to take your dogs’ skills to the next level, the CGC class might be just the thing you are looking for.
This class is designed for those wishing to volunteer with Lollypop Farm’s Pet Assisted Therapy program. This class will include familiarization to all of the skills needed to pass the evaluation to become a Pet Assisted Therapy Team. The class is open to dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits.
Take your training to the next level with Tricks 101! In this class, you’ll learn the basics of teaching cute and useful trick behaviors.
Join an Out and About class to take your dog to the next level! We will meet in a different location in the Rochester area each week to practice loose leash walking.
Try your dog’s paws out in the sport of agility. For dog owners who are looking for a fun activity for their dog or who may be looking to participate in agility competitions.
This class is designed for students who have taken our Beginner Agility class. Dogs must be able to successfully and confidently perform all of the equipment. During this class we will focus on handling skills as well as perfecting your dog’s individual obstacle performance. This class is will also be learning to negotiate sequences and simple courses.
