We’re springing into a new year at Lollypop Farm with a number of new Humane Education Programs for people of all ages, and new opportunities to interact with animals of all kinds!

Humane Education promotes personal and global responsibility. Our workshops are geared toward animal lovers of all ages. We share information about how we all care for and help the pets in our community, and how to model empathy, compassion, and respect. And this year – there are more exciting programs and classes than ever before. Take a look!

Potbellied Pig Belly Rubs for All Ages

Have you always wanted to spend some quality time with a potbellied pig at Lollypop Farm? Now’s your chance! Participants in our brand new Potbellied Pig Belly Rubs program will spend personal time with our pigs and learn all about their behavior, diet, and care. Explore why so many homeless pigs are brought to the shelter, and debunk myths about “mini” or “micro” pigs.

Meet critters of all kinds in our new Curious Critters program!

Curious Critters for Children in Grades 2nd – 5th

Another new program at Lollypop Farm, Curious Critters provides a fun opportunity for children to visit the shelter and learn about our animal friends. Each month focuses on a different animal or animal-related topic and includes a lesson, activity, and animal interaction geared towards the theme of the month.

New to Summer Camp this Year!

Lollypop Farm is the perfect destination for children who want a hands-on experience with animals while enjoying a behind -the-scenes look at what goes on at the shelter every day. Your camper will have the opportunity to learn about various parts of the shelter and make discoveries through hands-on learning with new animal friends.

New to summer camp this year is a week all about horses! Horse Heroes Camp is perfect for teenage animal lovers with an interest in equines. Campers that participate in this program will have the opportunity to learn about equine care and training, explore animal-related careers, and spend time with our rescued horses.
