Believe it or not, there are many different types of toxins within the normal household that can be irritating, dangerous, or even deadly for our pets. The ASPCA has identified the top ten pet toxins of 2016 as the following: human prescription medications, over-the-counter products, human food, veterinary products, household items, chocolate, insecticides, rodenticides, plants, and garden products.
